She came to widespread attention after starring in the comedy-drama film Little Miss Sunshine, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award in the category of Best Supporting Actress when she was only 10 years old.

After that, Breslin went on to establish herself as a mainstream actress by playing parts in films such as No Reservations, Nim’s Island, Definitely, Maybe, My Sister’s Keeper, Zombieland, Rango, The Call , August: Osage County, Maggie, Freak Show (2017), Zombieland: Double Tap (2019), and Stillwater (2021). Her first regular part in a television series was in the 2015–2016 season of the horror comedy series Scream Queens, which aired on Fox. This role was her first in a television series.

Abigail Breslin Career

  • Breslin got her start in the entertainment industry when she was just three years old and appeared in a commercial for Toys “R” Us. Her debut part as an actress was in the film Signs (2002), which was directed by M. Night Shyamalan. In that film, she played Bo Hess, the daughter of the main character, Graham Hess, who was played by Mel Gibson.
  • The film Signs was well received by critics for the most part , and it was a commercial triumph, earning $408 million throughout the world.
