Following the announcement that his wife Anne-Marie Corbett is expecting a child, Ant McPartlin is going to become a father for the very first time at the age of 48.
An individual who is close to the broadcaster, who is also one half of the duo known as Ant and Dec, disclosed on Saturday that his partner, who is 46 years old, is expecting the child in June and that they are “beyond delighted” with the news.
Despite the fact that McPartlin has voiced a long-standing desire to have his own children, this will be the first time that he will have his own children. Ms. Corbett already has two teenagers from a previous marriage.
The Sun was informed by a friend of his that “this is the news that everyone demanded.” Both Ant and Anne-Marie are overjoyed beyond comparison.
The fact that Ant has always desired to have children is not a secret; yet, he had, unhappily, come to grips with the possibility that he would never be able to acquire a family of his own.
When they learned about it the previous year, they were overjoyed beyond measure, but it is clear that they chose to keep the information a secret for as long as they could.
McPartlin had been married to Lisa Armstrong from 2006 until 2018, and he finally tied the knot with his second and current wife in 2021. Declan Donnelly served as the best man at the wedding.
The buddy continued by saying, “He is already a wonderful and doting father to Anne-Marie’s children, and together they are going to be wonderful parents to this newest addition to the family.”
With his wife of nine years, Ali Astall, Donnelly has two children. His son Jack, who bears the middle name Anthony, is the third of the three. South-west London is where McPartlin and Ms. Corbett make their home.
There is a remark from an older interview in which McPartlin is cited as saying that he desired to have children with his ex-wife, but this objective was never accomplished.
There had been speculation going around for several months that Ms. Corbett might be expecting a child. During the filming of I’m a Celebrity in Australia, she had made the decision not to accompany her husband to the location.
Ant and Dec decided to end their Takeaway series in the previous year, but they have now become involved in the production of a revived series of Byker Grove, which is the Geordie show that brought them to prominence.
