BRANDON STALEY – Brandon John Staley is a coach in the sport of American football. He was born on December 10, 1982, and now serves as the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, who compete in the National Football League (NFL).

In the past, he has held the position of defensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams in the year 2020. Additionally, he has worked as an assistant coach for the Denver Broncos and the Chicago Bears.

Brandon Staley – Family, Relationship and Afair

Saintaley was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma when she was 24 years old; nevertheless, she has been cancer-free for more than a decade now as a result of chemotherapy treatment at the Cleveland Clinic.

Brandon Staley Playing Career

  • After graduating from the University of Dayton, Staley began his career as a quarterback for the Flyers, where he successfully led the team to a record of 16–5 throughout the years 2003 and 2004.
  • His playing career came to an end in 2005 when he was a member of the football squad at Mercyhurst College, where he received his diploma.

Coaching Career

  • Brandon started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Northern Illinois from 2006 to 2008. In 2009, he moved on to work with defensive linemen and special teams at St. Thomas (Minnesota), which is a Division III school.
  • At Hutchinson Community College in Kansas, where he worked as an associate head coach and defensive coordinator in 2010 and 2011, Staley served in both of those capacities. During the 2012 season, he worked as a graduate assistant at the University of Tennessee.                                                                                
  • Following that, Staley would serve as the defensive coordinator and secondary coach at John Carroll University (Ohio) for a total of three seasons (2013, 2015, and 2016).                                                                                                                           
  • In the year 2017, the Chicago Bears made the decision to employ Staley to serve as their outside linebackers coach.
  • Staley was hired by the Denver Broncos on January 15, 2019, to serve as their outside linebackers coach. This brought him back together with Vic Fangio, who was the head coach at the time.
  • The Los Angeles Rams made the decision to replace Wade Phillips as their defensive coordinator on January 16, 2020, and they recruited Staley to fill the position.
  • In order to take over for Anthony Lynn as head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers[13], Staley was hired on January 17, 2021.
  • In his first game as head coach of the Chargers during the regular season, which took place on September 12, 2021, Staley led the team to a victory over the Washington Football Team by a score of 20–16.
  • While Staley was the head coach of the Chargers in 2022, the team finished with a record of 10–7 and finished in second place in the AFC West. In the AFC Wild Card round, which took place on January 14, 2023, the Chargers, who finished as the fifth seed in the AFC, faced up against the fourth seed Jacksonville Jaguars, who had a record of 9–8.
  • The Jaguars were able to come back and win the game 31–30 with a field goal as time was running out, despite the Chargers having stormed out to a 27–0 lead to start the game. During the history of the NFL playoffs, it was the third-largest comeback ever.
