Apollo Creed from Rocky movies, actor Carl Weathers dies at 76


It has been reported by his family that the American actor Carl Weathers has passed away at the age of 76.

“He passed away peacefully in his sleep,” according to a statement that was issued by his family, Weathers, who played the role of Apollo Creed in the first four Rocky films, was said to have said.

The film Predator, in which he co-starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Happy Gilmore, starring Adam Sandler, are among his other cinematic credits.

Furthermore, according to the statement sent by his family, Weathers “was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life.” Weathers began his career as a linebacker in the National Football League.
