Christian McCaffrey – Christian Jackson McCaffrey is an American football running back who was born on June 7, 1996. He is also known by the initials CMC. He currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers, who are members of the National Football League (NFL). He attended Stanford University for his college football career and then was selected eighth overall by the Carolina Panthers in the 2017 NFL Draft.
In 2015, when McCaffrey was only a sophomore, he was recognized by the Associated Press as the best college football player and was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy. He has 3,864 all-purpose yards in a season, which is an NCAA record and makes him the record holder.

Christian McCaffrey – Family, Relationship and Afair
McCaffrey was born in Castle Rock, Colorado, on June 7, 1996. He is the son of former Stanford and NFL wide receiver Ed McCaffrey and former Stanford soccer player Lisa McCaffrey. Ed McCaffrey played wide receiver for both Stanford and the NFL. Lisa McCaffrey played soccer for Stanford.
After graduating from Duke University with a degree in football, his older brother Max went on to play wide receiver for a number of NFL clubs. His younger brother, Dylan, currently attends Northern Colorado University and plays quarterback there. Luke, the youngest of his brothers, attends Rice University and plays wide receiver for the school.
Since 2019, McCaffrey has been romantically involved with Olivia Culpo, who won the title of Miss Universe in 2012 and is a fashion influencer. The couple made the announcement of their engagement on April 7, 2023.

Christian McCaffrey Career
- McCaffrey was recognized as one of the top running back prospects entering the draft, and as a result, he was invited to participate at the NFL Combine. While there, he worked through all of the required combine workouts and also took part in positional drills.
- He participated in Stanford’s Pro Day, but because he was content with his performance at the combine, he merely ran positional exercises for the NFL scouts and representatives who were there. The vast majority of NFL experts and analysts agreed that McCaffrey should be selected in the first round of the draft.
- In the 2017 NFL Draft, the Carolina Panthers used the eighth overall pick to choose McCaffrey, making him the eighth player chosen overall. Following the selection of Leonard Fournette as the fourth overall pick, he was the second running back picked.
- McCaffrey was signed by the Carolina Panthers on May 4, 2017, to a contract that was worth $17.2 million over four years and included a signing bonus of $10.7 million.
- McCaffrey became the highest-paid running back in NFL history after signing a four-year contract extension with the Panthers on April 16, 2020. The pact was worth $64 million and will take effect through the 2025 season.
