Following the proposal, Foxx and Hooten were shown smiling and embracing on the deck of a boat in the series of photographs that were taken by Bailey Ann Templeton.
The former presenter of Beat Shazam was seen in one photograph giving her now-fiancé a peck on the cheek, and in another, she was seen affectionately hugging Hooten while looking in the direction of the camera.
It is not known how Foxx and Hooten first became romantically involved with one another; however, according to Page Six, the two individuals met in 2018 while they were both students at the University of Southern California.
In September of 2019, Foxx provided the first insight into her relationship with Hooten by posting a picture on Instagram that featured the two of them at a horse stable. “Spent the weekend with a couple of studs,” she said in the description of her photo.
There have been a few rare glimpses into Foxx’s private connection with Hotten that have been provided by her in the years that have followed, including a post that was published in October and highlighted the previous month. In a single photograph, the two individuals were seen looking at each other with affection while dressed in formal attire.
According to a profile on Coverfly, Hooten is a writer-director and television executive who has won multiple awards. He is currently employed with John Wells Productions.
He is “passionate about telling emotional, provocative stories about socio-economic classism,” according to his bio, which also provides additional information.
