A significant outage occurred at X in March, not long after the company had completed a round of layoffs that resulted in the departure of more than 200 employees.

The users of the website were presented with what appeared to be a welcome page during this outage. It appeared as though they were not yet following anyone on the platform.

“Welcome to the world of Twitter! You will find the most up-to-date information about what is going on in your world here. The message stated, “Now is the time to come up with some people and topics to follow.”

Numerous users expressed their dissatisfaction with the fact that they were unable to use X in a typical manner, citing difficulties in accessing links, photographs, and videos on the website.

Another outage occurred in July, and thousands of people stated that they were unable to retrieve their tweets, that their timelines were missing, and that their followers had vanished.

After Mr. Elon Musk said that the site would be imposing temporary reading limits for users, the number of posts that users could read was increased to 8,000 for verified accounts, 800 for unverified accounts, and 400 for new unverified accounts.

Many users of X were either unable to log in to their accounts or were unable to connect to the internet at all during the more recent outage that occurred in October.

Those that were able to log in and view postings on their feed said that tweets were either missing or not displaying correctly. Additionally, some users discovered that just retweets appeared to be affected by the issue.
