The great player for the Memphis Grizzlies, Ja Morant, made his comeback to NBA action on Tuesday night. Morant had not yet participated in any games this season because he was serving a 25-game suspension that was handed down by NBA commissioner Adam Silver.

This suspension was handed down after Morant was caught on Instagram brandishing a weapon for the second successive time.

Morant made the decision to make his comeback to the league public by delivering a stunning performance against the Pelicans.

Highlights

There were a total of 34 points, six rebounds, and eight assists that Morant concluded the night with. It was on the very last play of the game that he made the most impressive play of the evening.

Morant was dribbling out the clock because the score was tied at 113–113. He wanted to make sure that the Grizzlies had the opportunity to take the final shot of the game.

As the buzzer sounded, Morant drove the lane, twirled, jumped, held in the air, and then dropped in the game-winning floater on the final possession of the game.
