Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake Surprise Appearances in Dakota Johnson’s ‘SNL’ Monologue

When Dakota Johnson hosted Saturday Night Live over the weekend, she made her first appearance on the show since 2015, and she was accompanied by musical guest Justin Timberlake. This was the first time she had been on the stage since 2015.

On the other hand, Timberlake made the decision to visit Johnson during her monologue in an attempt to come to her aid, even though Johnson did not believe that she was in need of assistance.

I am overjoyed to be back at Saturday Night Live. During the performance, Johnson revealed with the audience that it was a kind of reunion for her and Justin Timberlake. Timberlake appeared to be bewildered as he made his way onto the stage behind Johnson. “We were actually in a movie together called The Social Network.”

Johnson was taken aback by Timberlake’s appearance behind her, and he inquired, “Justin, what are you doing up here?” Are you unable to find your way?

“I heard my name,” Timberlake continued to respond. “I thought that was my cue.”

Not at all. Johnson elaborated on the fact that you are the musical guest.

Timberlake answered, “Oh, OK, well, if you want me to be in sketches, I have hosted before,” before holding up five fingers and quietly mouthing “five times.” “I have hosted before,” Timberlake continued.

“Yeah, Well, that was ten years ago, so….” Johnson made a veiled reference to the musician before expressing his gratitude for selecting her show for his comeback performance.

Timberlake shared, “I just wanted to say good luck, and you’re going to crush it,” and he went on to utter these words. “And I’m here if you need me.”

Immediately after he ended, Jimmy Fallon, a longtime friend of Justin Timberlake and a frequent collaborator on Saturday Night Live, came onto the stage dressed in his iconic Barry Gibb costume and wig.

It has come to light that the show did not manage to convince Fallon to dress up in a complete Gibb ensemble for the sole purpose of a monologue appearance.

Not too much time had passed since the beginning of the show when Fallon and Timberlake took the stage for an all-new episode of their well-known sketch, which is called “The Barry Gibb Talk Show.”

Fans were also impressed by Timberlake’s musical comeback, which took place in the meanwhile. The singer made his debut with a tune off his newest album, titled “Sanctified,” and he extended his gratitude to collaborator Tobe Nwigwe for his assistance.

Immediately after that, Timberlake proceeded to perform his second set of the evening, during which he delivered a soulful and somber rendition of his single “Selfish.”
