He concluded the season with a record of two wins and zero losses, posting an earned run average of 2.48 and 67 strikeouts in 54.1 innings pitched. He played for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes of the California League for the whole 2014 season. He made a total of 25 appearances, 20 of which were starts, and finished with a record of 2–2 and a 2.36 earned run average.

He allowed only 37 runners to reach base while striking out 109 opponents. Uras was selected to play for the World squad at the 2014 All-Star Futures Game. He was also selected as the “Minor League Pitcher of the Year” for the Dodgers organization in 2014.

He was extended an invitation to participate in the team’s major league spring training camp in 2015 by the organization. After pitching in a total of two innings in two games with an earned run average of 4.50, he was the first player to be released from the roster and was sent to the team’s minor league camp on March 14, 2015.

Before the start of the 2015 baseball season, MLBpipeline.com had Uras pegged as the best left-handed pitching prospect in all of baseball. He was rated as the eighth-best prospect in all of baseball by MLB.com, and Baseball America listed him as the tenth-best prospect that year. Prior to the beginning of the 2015 season, the Dodgers designated him for play with the AA Tulsa Drillers of the Texas League. In 13 starts for Tulsa, he had a record of 3–4 with an earned run average of 2.77.

On August 31, 2015, Urias was given a promotion to the Oklahoma City Dodgers of the American Association. He had a rough go of it in his first action at the AAA level, allowing nine runs over the course of four and one-third innings spread between two starts. In his one and only start in the Pacific Coast League playoffs, he was responsible for allowing six runs, one of which was a grand slam home run, in just one inning. Once more, he was extended an invitation to participate in Dodgers spring training.

At the beginning of the season, he was sent to AAA, where he went 4–1 with a 1.10 earned run average in seven starts. In addition, he went scoreless for Oklahoma City over a stretch of 27 innings throughout the month of May.

Uras had three different procedures performed on his left eye when he was younger in order to remove a benign tumor. Because of this, his left eye is almost completely covered, yet he is still able to see out of it. Uras, a fervent Roman Catholic, responded, “That’s how God works. When I was asked about his eye condition, I said, “That’s how God works. He gave me a terrible eye on the left side but a good arm on the left.” On May 19, 2015, he voluntarily underwent surgery in an effort to remedy the issue.

The decision to delay prosecution was made by the City Attorney of Los Angeles, Mike Feuer, on the condition that Uras participate in a hearing, refrain from committing acts of violence against anyone, and finish a 52-week therapy program for domestic violence in person.

After an altercation that took place during a LAFC soccer match that Uras was watching on September 3, 2023, he was taken into custody and charged with felony domestic violence.
