Guardiola won’t talk about the altercation between Kyle Walker and Neal Maupay during City’s victory

After Manchester City’s 3-1 victory in west London, Pep Guardiola turned down the opportunity to discuss an altercation that occurred between Kyle Walker and Neal Maupay of Brentford players.

A statement made by Maupay to Walker in the final stages caused him to lose his cool, and his manager had to intervene in order to bring him back under control. Throughout the entirety of the match, the home fans had been making fun of the captain of City football team by making comments about his personal life.

After the final whistle, Guardiola engaged in a lengthy conversation with French striker Maupay; nevertheless, when questioned about the incident after the game, Guardiola just snapped, “Next question!”

After the victory in west London, which, when combined with Arsenal’s victory over Liverpool on Sunday, put City two points behind the Reds with a game in hand, Guardiola was more pleased to talk about Phil Foden, who had scored a hat trick.

In the early stages of the second half, the England midfielder scored a goal by heading in a cross from Kevin De Bruyne. He then went on to complete a trifecta in a beautiful manner, leaving the visitors with the title fate firmly in their own hands.

“When he is close to the 18-yard box, he always has the joy of scoring goals and the threat of hitting the back of the net. Undoubtedly, he is a remarkable player. Even at such a young age, City has already played more than 250 games. The impact that has been exerted ever since he arrived.

The fact that he still has this sense of amateur culture is evidenced by the fact that he is a huge fan of playing football, and when you are a little boy, you always see players playing in the street. He is a huge fan of playing, and he has been an invaluable asset to us throughout this season.

Thomas Frank, the boss, stated that they are aware that they have a strong in that area with Ivan. Although it is not something that we do all the time, it might be useful when we are playing against a team that is pushing. It is to the credit of Mark, Ivan, and Neal that they solved the problem on their own.

It was a good team that we were competing against, I have to admit! An excellent performance on our part. We have a number of things that we do well.
