  • Wilson spent a number of years honing her songwriting skills while also performing at a wide range of intimate venues. In 2014, Wilson released an album on the Cupit label that was simply titled “Wilson.” Her second studio album, titled Tougher, was released the following year, in 2016.
  • In the year 2018, Wilson entered into a recording contract with the BBR Music Group, which is considered a big label. Her third EP, titled “Redneck Hollywood,” was released in 2019 by a big label for the first time.
  • “Dirty Looks” is the title of her first single for a major label, which was also released in 2019. Off the Record UK lauded the extended play, singling out Wilson’s composition and Jay Joyce’s production as particularly noteworthy aspects.
  • The following month, August 2020, saw the release of “Things a Man Oughta Know” as Wilson’s next single to radio under the BBR label. The song received significant attention from several media outlets, including YouTube, Apple Music, iHeart Radio, Spotify, and Pandora, among others.

  • After that came her solo song “Heart Like a Truck” in 2022, and then the album Bell Bottom Country. At the 56th Annual Country Music Association Awards, Wilson was the only performer to get a total of six nominations, making him the fourth artist in history to do so as a first-time candidate. His six nominations earned him the position of leading the pack.
  • In the same year, 2022, Wilson was also cast in the television series Yellowstone, and the show would later incorporate a number of her songs.[30] She collaborated with country music musician MacKenzie Porter in 2023 to write the song “Chasing Tornadoes,” which was released as a single.
