Sarah Beeny is an English broadcaster and entrepreneur. She was born on January 9, 1972 in Reading, Berkshire, to Richard, an architect for Bovis Homes, and Ann. Sarah Lucinda Beeny is their daughter. There is an older brother named Beeny. The family lived in two renovated brick cottages on a nine-acre plot on the outskirts of the Duke of Wellington’s estate in Stratfield Saye in Hampshire  in a manner that Beeny described as being “a bit like The Good Life.

Beeny is a well-known advocate for the preservation of historic structures, and he is the one who was responsible for the renovation of Rise Hall, a Grade II listed hall located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. Beeny is the author of a large number of books in addition to the regular pieces that he has written for major newspapers and publications.

In 2018, she debuted a podcast titled Round the Houses with Sarah Beeny, which features a wide range of wealthy and renowned visitors who welcome Beeny inside their houses and give her access to their personal lives. When Beeny was 10 years old, her mother passed away from breast cancer at the age of 39. Beeny was requested to participate in a screen test after meeting the sister-in-law of Sarah Delafield-Cook, a talent hunter at Talkback Thames, during a hen party. The screen test was for a new television series on property development, and Beeny was asked to front the programme. The popularity of Property Ladder spawned a number of spin-off programs, the most notable of which are Britain’s Best Home, Streets Ahead, and Property Snakes and Ladders.

In the year 2006, Beeny delivered a presentation with the heading “One Year to Pay Off Your Mortgage.” She also contributed a weekly column to the Mail on Sunday in addition to writing a number of books that went along with the series.
