Jordan Poole – Jordan Anthony Poole is a professional basketball player from the United States who now Play for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Poole was born on June 19, 1999. Both Rufus King High School in Milwaukee and La Lumiere School, which is located in La Porte, Indiana, were on his educational path. As a junior in 2016, he was chosen for the first team All-Wisconsin.
The following year, as a senior, he was a member of the team that won the Dick’s National High School Championship. After high school, Poole continued his basketball career with the Michigan Wolverines in college. When he was a student at Michigan, he was a member of the 2017–18 squad that went on to win the 2018 Big Ten tournament and go to the national championship game for that season.

Jordan Poole Career
- The Golden State Warriors selected Poole in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft on June 20. He was selected with the 28th overall pick in the first round. His contract promised him a total of $6.2 million over the course of three years.
- The Warriors gave Poole a deal at the rookie scale on July 11 after he was signed by the team. Poole made his debut in the NBA on October 24, 2019, during the Warriors’ opening game of the 2019–20 season. He came off the bench in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers by a score of 122–141 and contributed five points, two rebounds, two assists, and a steal in the game.
- On October 29, he made his first start for the Warriors in the NBA against the Pelicans. He scored 13 points, and the game ended in a victory for the Warriors, their first of the season.
- Poole was placed on the roster of the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G League in the month of December 2019. When he played there for the first time, the Stockton Kings were the opponent, and he finished the game with 23 points.
- As Poole emerged victorious over Otto Porter Jr. and Lee in the competition for the starting shooting guard position for the 2021–22 Warriors, Thompson resumed his road to recovery. In a game against the Toronto Raptors on November 21, 2021, Poole made a career-high eight three-point shots and finished with 33 points, leading the team to a 119–104 victory.
- After Tristan Thompson was well enough to return to the starting lineup in January 2022, the team switched to a three-guard formation, and Poole was moved to the point guard position to play alongside Stephen Curry and Tristan Thompson.
- Poole and Draymond Green, who was also a member of the team, got into an argument on October 5, 2022, which led to Green punching Poole. This took place during a team practice.
- On October 7, TMZ uploaded a video that was provided to them showing the punch but did not show what lead up to the event. On October 9, Green issued a public apology for the event and indicated that he would spend a few days away from the squad in order to reflect on his actions.
- Poole extended his deal with the Warriors by signing a new four-year pact on October 15, 2022, for a total value of $123 million, with an additional $17 million in incentives, of which $5 million was classed as LTBE.
- In order to acquire Chris Paul on July 6, 2023, the Warriors made a deal with the Washington Wizards in which they sent Poole, Patrick Baldwin Jr., Ryan Rollins, and draft picks in return for Paul.
