  • Balotelli was signed by Inter Milan in 2006 on loan with a pre-set sum of €150,000 to co-own the player. This came after he had a failed trial with Barcelona when he was 15 years old. In June of 2007, Inter made use of the option and paid an additional sum of €190,000 to acquire the remaining half of the property.
  • Balotelli made his debut in the UEFA Europa League on August 19, 2010, when he came on as a substitute and scored in his first game. The match was against Politehnica Timișoara, a Romanian team, and they won the match 1-0.
