Juan Soto – Juan José Soto Pacheco is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder who currently plays for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). Pacheco was born on October 25, 1998. Previously, he was a member of the Major League Baseball team for the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres.
2015 was the year that Soto became an international free agent and signed with the Nationals. In 2018, he made his debut in the Major League Baseball and finished as the runner-up for the N.L. Rookie of the Year Award. The Nationals won their first World Series championship in 2019, and he was awarded the Babe Ruth Award for his significant contribution to the team’s victory.

Juan Soto Career
- In July of 2015, Soto became an international free agent and signed a franchise contract with the Washington Nationals. In 2016, he made his debut in the professional league with the Gulf Coast League Nationals, which competed in the Gulf Coast League (GCL) at the rookie level.
- He was recognized as the most valuable player in the GCL after achieving a batting average of.368 with five home runs and the ability to drive in 32 runs.
- Over the course of the last few games of the 2016 season, he was given a promotion to the Auburn Doubledays of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League. This promotion took place in September of 2016.
- When Soto was given the opportunity to play for the Hagerstown Suns of the Class A South Atlantic League in 2017, he got off to a strong start. However, on May 2, he suffered an ankle injury while sliding into home during a game, which resulted in his being placed on the disabled list.
- When he sustained his injury, he was in the batting position.360 with three home runs with the Suns in a total of 23 games played.
- At the time of his debut in the major leagues on May 20, 2018, Soto became the youngest player in the major leagues, having reached the age of 19 years and 207 days. He was also the first player born in 1998 to participate in a game in the big leagues.

- In June 2018, shortly after Soto was called up to the major leagues, Baseball America ranked him as the top prospect for the Nationals, surpassing fellow outfielder Víctor Robles. Additionally, he was ranked as the fourth-best overall prospect in baseball.
- When Soto hit a home run against the New York Yankees on June 18, 2018, he was a significant contributor to a memorable incident that occurred.
- With his 100 extra-base hits before his 21st birthday, Soto joined Mel Ott, Tony Conigliaro, and Bryce Harper, his former teammate, as the only players in Major League Baseball history to accomplish this feat. Soto’s accomplishment occurred on August 19, 2019.
- On March 22, 2022, Soto reached an agreement with the Nationals to avoid arbitration by signing a contract for $17.1 million. Bryce Elder, the pitcher for the Braves, was the target of Soto’s 100th home run from his career on April 12th.
- Having reached the age of 23 years and 169 days, Soto became the youngest player in the history of the Nationals to accomplish that milestone. He also became the eighth-youngest player in the history of Major League Baseball to attain that milestone.
