Anthony Davis – Anthony Marshon Davis Jr., who was born on March 11, 1993, or “AD” for short, is a professional basketball player from the United States who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). His previous team was the New Orleans Pelicans, where he played briefly. Both the power forward and center positions are his areas of expertise.

A total of eight NBA All-Star selections have been bestowed upon Davis, in addition to four All-NBA First Team selections and four NBA All-Defensive Team assignments. After joining the Lakers for the first time, he went on to win the NBA Finals in the year 2020. In the year 2021, he was selected to be a member of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. • When Davis participated at the NBA Draft Combine in 2012, he measured 6 feet 9.25 inches (2.06 meters), weighed 221.8 pounds (100.6 kilograms), and had the second-longest wingspan of any player who was present. His wingspan measured 7 feet 5.5 inches (2.27 meters).

• Davis played his first game for the team on November 1, 2012, which was against the San Antonio Spurs. Despite the fact that the squad was unsuccessful, he managed to score a team-high 21 points. • Davis subsequently set a new season high with 38 points, 16 rebounds, and four blocks in the following game, which was a victory over the Detroit Pistons by a score of 128–121.

• On January 25, 2023, Davis made his return to the team after suffering a right foot ailment that caused him to miss the previous twenty games.
