  • The Nets began the 2009–10 season with a record of 0–18, which was the poorest start to a season in the history of the National Basketball Association. Due to the Nets’ poor start, head coach Lawrence Frank was terminated from his position.

  • The Nets defeated the Charlotte Bobcats by a score of 97-91 in their inaugural game, which took place on December 4, 2009. Lopez had a positive impact on the victory by contributing 31 points and 14 rebounds.

  • Lopez made his debut in the 2014–15 season on November 3, 2014, after suffering a foot injury that caused him to miss the first two games of the season.

  • His performance in the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder resulted in a victory by a score of 116-85. He had 18 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal in just under 24 minutes of action.

  • On the 26th of June in 2015, Lopez made the decision to become a free agent by opting out of his contract with the Nets.

  • Lopez re-signed with the Nets on July 9, 2015, for a contract that would last for three years. Following Buck Williams (633), Jason Kidd (504), Kerry Kittles (455), Richard Jefferson (417), and Jason Collins (405), Lopez became the sixth player in the history of the Nets club to reach 400 starts.

  • This accomplishment was accomplished on December 8 within the context of a victory over the Houston Rockets.

  • When Lopez was playing against the Boston Celtics on January 2, 2016, he set a new season high with 30 points and 13 rebounds. The game ended with a score of 100–97.

  • In the next two days, he was honored with the title of Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games that were played between Monday, December 28 and Sunday, January 3. His season-high 31 points came on January 24, when he led his team to a victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder by a score of 116–106.

  • In a victory over the Denver Nuggets by a score of 121–114 on November 11, he scored 28 points and made eight three-pointers, which was a career record for him.

  • Lopez played his first game of the season for the Bucks on December 23, 2020. In a game against the Boston Celtics, which the Bucks ultimately lost 122–121, Lopez recorded seven points, three rebounds, and two blocks.

  • In his first game of the season for the Bucks, which took place on October 19, 2021, Lopez achieved a victory over the Brooklyn Nets by a score of 127–104. He finished with eight points, five rebounds, and three blocks. A back injury that he sustained after that game forced him to miss the rest of the season.
