Amanda Seyfried – Amanda Michelle Seyfried is a well-known American actress who was born on December 3, 1985. She started modeling when she was 11 years old and had her acting debut when she was 15 years old. She is most known for her recurring roles as Lucy Montgomery in the CBS soap opera As the World Turns and Joni Stafford in the ABC serial opera All My Children (2003).

She was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She made her debut in the feature film version of the teen comedy Mean Girls (2004), which brought her to widespread attention.

She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, on December 3rd, 1985. 

Both of her parents are in the medical field; Ann Seyfried (née Sander), her mother, is an occupational therapist, and Jack Seyfried, her father, is a pharmacist.

Jennifer Seyfried, her older sister, is a member of the band Love City, which is based in Philadelphia and plays rock music.

Between the years 2008 and 2009, Seyfried was romantically involved with the actor Dominic Cooper on and off.

Early in the year 2016, she started a romantic relationship with Thomas Sadoski, who had previously worked with her on The Last Word.

They announced the news that they were engaged on September 12, 2016, and got married in March of the following year. They are the proud parents of a son as well as a daughter.

• Seyfried began her career in modeling while she was a student at William Allen High School in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She was featured on three different covers of the Sweet Valley High novel series and appeared in a number of print advertisements for several apparel companies, including Limited Too, which she co-starred in with Leighton Meester.

• When she was 17 years old, she left the modeling industry, and began working as a waiter at a retirement community. While she was still a teenager, she began her acting career as an extra in the daytime television show Guiding Light.

• Prior to that, she had taken vocal lessons, studied opera, trained with a Broadway coach, and trained in New York City.                                                                                                                       

• In 2003, Seyfried participated in an audition for the role of Regina George in the film Mean Girls; however, Rachel McAdams was ultimately cast in the part. Although she was at first considered for the starring role of Cady Heron, which was eventually played by Lindsay Lohan, the producers of the film ultimately decided that Amanda Seyfried should play Karen Smith, Regina’s dimwitted and “plastic” friend and sidekick.

• Jennifer’s Body is a comedic horror film that was released in 2008, and Amanda Seyfried was cast in the role of Anita “Needy” Lesnicki, the best friend of the titular character.

• Letters to Juliet is a romantic comedy film that was released later in 2010 and stars Amanda Seyfried. The film is based on the novel of the same name written by Lise Friedman and Ceil Friedman.

• Despite receiving negative and positive feedback from critics upon its debut, the film Letters to Juliet was a commercial success, earning $80 million around the world. Seyfried was given the title of “Showest Breakthrough Female Star of the Year” in recognition of her performance.

• In 2013, Seyfried provided her voice for a character in the animated film Epic as well as the comedy film The Big Wedding. In the biography Lovelace, she played Linda Lovelace, and for her performance in the film, she received plaudits from members of the film critic community.

• In the year 2015, she had roles in the comedies Ted 2 and Pan, in which she played the mother of Peter Pan and also featured alongside Mark Wahlberg and Seth MacFarlane.

• In 2019, Seyfried participated in the comedic drama The Art of Racing in the Rain, which was adapted from the best-selling book of the same name. Seyfried played the role of Eve.
