Brandon Ingram – Brandon Xavier Ingram is a professional basketball player from the United States who currently plays for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Ingram was born on September 2, 1997. Following his selection by the Los Angeles Lakers with the second overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft, he was honored with a spot on the second team of the NBA All-Rookie Team.

In his first season with the Pelicans, he was traded to New Orleans, where he went on to become an NBA All-Star for the first time. In addition, he was honored as the NBA’s Most Improved Player in the year 2020.

• According to the results of the 2016 NBA draft, which took place on June 23, 2016, the Los Angeles Lakers picked Ingram with the second overall pick. He was the second-youngest player picked in 2016, despite the fact that he was only 18 years old before the selection.

• On August 23, 2016, he signed a contract with the Lakers that was on the terms of a rookie contract. He made his first appearance for the Los Angeles Lakers in the first game of the season, which took place on October 26, 2016, against the Houston Rockets.

• He came off the bench and scored nine points in the victory. On November 23, Ingram made his first start of his career and scored a then-career-high 16 points in a game against the Golden State Warriors.                                                                 

• The game ended in a loss by a score of 149–106. It was on December 2 that he surpassed that mark, scoring 17 points in a game against the Toronto Raptors that they won 113–80.

• Anthony Davis, an All-Star player, was acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers on July 6, 2019, in exchange for Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, the draft rights to De’Andre Hunter, two first-round picks, a first-round pick swap, and cash. The trade was made in exchange for Anthony Davis.

• When the Brooklyn Nets defeated the Brooklyn Nets on November 4, 2019, Ingram set a new career high by scoring 40 points. This was a loss for the Brooklyn Nets.

• When the Dallas Mavericks were defeated by the Los Angeles Lakers 107–91 on December 3, 2021, Ingram set a new career high with 12 assists, in addition to scoring 24 points and grabbing eight rebounds.

• A couple of days later, he scored a season-high 40 points in a game against the Houston Rockets, which the Rockets won 118–108. Ingram led the New Orleans Pelicans to a victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves by scoring 33 points, dishing out nine assists, and making a three-point shot that proved to be the game-winning shot. The Pelicans won the game 128–125.

• After scoring 30 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists in the Pelicans’ 115–96 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on March 24, 2023, Ingram achieved the first triple-double of his career in the National Basketball Association.

• A triple-double was achieved by Ingram on March 30 when he scored 31 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists in a victory over the Denver Nuggets by a score of 107–88.

• In the history of the Pelicans, he joined Chris Paul as the only players to have multiple games in which they scored at least 30 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and assisted 10 assists.

• During the final game of the 2022–23 season, which took place on April 9, Ingram recorded season highs of 42 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists all while playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The game ended in a loss by a score of 113–108.
